Microdermabrasion
From $60 ⋆ 30 mins
-
Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that can be suitable for a wide range of individuals who want to improve the appearance of their skin. It can be beneficial for people who have:
Fine lines and wrinkles
Age spots or sun damage
Uneven skin tone or texture
Acne scars or other mild scarring
Enlarged pores
Dull or tired-looking skin
-
Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses a special device to remove the outermost layer of dead skin cells on the surface of your skin.
It is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses a diamond-tipped wand or diamond wand with a suction device to exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin.
Diamond microdermabrasion can feel like a mild scratching or rough sensation on the skin. The diamond-tipped wand or suction device is gently moved across the skin's surface, exfoliating and removing dead skin cells. Some individuals may experience a mild tingling or vibrating sensation during the procedure.
-
Please keep out of the sun 48 hours before treatment
-
After the treatment, your skin may look slightly pink or red, but this should subside within a few hours. Your skin will also feel smoother, softer, and more refreshed. Depending on your skin concerns and goals, you may need multiple sessions to achieve optimal results.
To maintain the results of your microdermabrasion treatment, it is important to protect your skin from sun exposure and to use correct homecare products
Skin Needling

-
$240 per treatment when you pay for for 3
or
$220 per treatment when you pay for 6
-
Skin-needling treatments stimulate the production of collagen and elastin to create smoother, firmer skin. This powerhouse treatment can help treat:
Acne
Acne scarring
Stretch marks
Fine lines
Pigmentation
Rosacea
Enlarged pores
Even skin time
Skin rejuvenation
-
Skin Needling works by making thousands of micro-punctures on the skin, lifting and firming, improving skin tone and smoothing away fine lines and acne scars and increasing permeability of topical products.
During the treatment, you will feel slight pressure and a prickling sensation as the device moves across the treatment area. Treatment is fast, so any discomfort is short-lived and tolerable. Warmth and slight tingling are normal.
-
This treatment will require a consultation prior to create a tailored preparation plan based on your skin type and skin concern. Adhering to your preparation plan is key to achieving the best results.

AHA’s
BHA’s
Vitamin C.
Day of treatment; Please arrive with a clean face and no makeup, if possible.

After your Skin Needling treatment, your skin may appear flushed, with slight redness and possible mild swelling. You may also experience light flaking. But don’t worry most of the redness and swelling should subside within 24 hours.
Avoid picking the skin and apply moisturiser 2-3 times per day to keep hydration levels up.
Your skin will be extra sensitive so please keep out of the sun for at least two weeks before and two weeks after the procedure. This will help to obtain optimum results and reduce post-treatment complications.
We do not advise the use of sunscreen immediately after the procedure as the skin channels are completely open and will absorb anything that is applied. However, you can apply sunscreen once the skin has healed over, approximately 24 hours after your treatment.
Avoid heat-related activities such as sauna, sunbathing hot showers/baths and exercising for a minimum of 24 hours post-treatment.
This procedure will leave your skin in a sensitive state, so we recommend that you avoid all skin care products that contain any kind of “active ingredients” such as retinol, alpha hydroxyl acids, and vitamin C. You can incorporate these products back into your regime 3-5 days after your treatment, or as recommended by your Dermal therapist.
Dermaplaning
$200 ⋆ 1 hour ⋆ Inc. LED Light Therapy
-
This treatment is suitable for all skin types.
-
During the treatment, you will feel slight pressure and a light scraping/resurfacing sensation as the blade moves across the surface of the skin. Warmth is normal. Most clients find this treatment relaxing.
-
Dermaplaning is an entry level skin treatment and requires no pre-treatment preparation but for optimal results, we recommend prepping the skin at least a week before. Please speak to one of our Dermal Therapists for a consultation prior to your treatment.
-
Mild to moderate erythema may be present for a few hours. Mild flaking may occur for 2-4 days post-treatment.
There is no downtime and the results are instant.
Depending on the individual, we generally recommend ongoing treatments every 2-4 weeks as fine hair begins to regrow and congestion starts to show again.
Aftercare
It’s important to stay out of the sun for at least 24 hours post-treatment. Wear a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every day.
Do not go in chlorinated pools and avoid heat-related activities for at least 24 hours post-treatment.
Refrain from touching your face and avoid using any skincare products containing active ingredients like retinoids and glycolic acids for 48 hours after the treatment.
Frequently asked…
-
Skin Needling is considered safe for all skin types and requires little to no downtime post- treatment. However, it is not recommended in conjunction with some acne medications or if you have psoriasis, eczema, open wounds, active cystic acne or keloid scarring, or if you are pregnant.
-
Both treatments are effective at exfoliating the skin. Where dermaplaning uses a handheld blade to remove dead skin cells, microdermabrasion uses a small machine that provides a diamond tip exfoliation and suction at the same time. Microdermabrasion is a more intensive exfoliating treatment and is more effective where a deeper clean is desired.
Microdermabrasion however is unable to remove vellus hair and therefore cannot achieve the same smooth hairless result that dermaplaning provides.
-
Dermaplaning is suitable for all skin types and is most suited to clients who have dull skin with the appearance of fine vellus hairs. It’s also safe for pregnant and breastfeeding mums.
-
No. Dermaplaning works by gliding with your hair growth rather than against it. By doing this we are able to remove fine vellus hair and debris from the skin without stimulating or encouraging thicker or darker hair to regrow. Hair will regrow similarly to what you had previously.

LED light therapy is included in the price of our skin needling and dermaplaning treatments.
